Jaw crusher is widely used in mining crushing due to its high production capacity, stable operation and good crushing performance. However, in the actual production process, with the continuous operation of the equipment, wear-resistant parts are also constantly consumed. In order to ensure good production capacity, it is necessary to regularly adjust the size of the discharge port to meet the feeding requirements of medium and fine crushing equipment and ensure that the product particle size and production capacity remain unchanged. Therefore, it is necessary to adjust the discharge port to meet the needs of customers and achieve good crushing effect.
There are two main ways to adjust the discharge port of the jaw crusher of Shandong Bond Technology Co., Ltd.: one is the gasket type and the other is the wedge type.
Shim type:
The adjustment pad is generally located behind the toggle plate seat in the adjustment seat. When the discharge port needs to be adjusted, the number of pads can be increased or decreased, and the total thickness of the pads can be changed, so that the front and rear positions of the toggle plates change, and the front and rear positions of the lower part of the movable jaw are moved to achieve the change of the size of the discharge port.
1. Insert the pad from the back of the jaw crusher
The adjustment pad is inserted from the back of the crusher, the pad is shorter and lighter. The operator's operating space is limited, and it is not convenient to replace the pad.
2. Insert the pad from the side of the jaw crusher
The adjustment pad is inserted from the side plate of the crusher, the pad is longer and heavier. The operator's operating position is better and safer.
The pad adjustment is relatively simple, but it is often inconvenient. It is difficult to add or subtract pads to adjust the discharge port. It needs to be placed close to the crusher, which takes up space on the one hand and prevents loss on the other hand. It cannot be adjusted steplessly, and automatic adjustment cannot be achieved by hydraulic means.
Wedge block type:
The wedge block type adjustment device is mainly composed of two identical wedge blocks. The wedge block is located behind the toggle plate seat in the adjustment seat. The inclined surfaces of the two wedge blocks are relatively fitted together. By changing the relative position of the two wedge blocks, the total thickness of the wedge block pair can be changed, so that the front and rear positions of the toggle plates change, and the front and rear positions of the lower part of the movable jaw are moved to change the size of the discharge port.
1. Mechanical adjustment
The mechanical adjustment method is that the movement of the wedge block is achieved by manually turning the adjustment screw. The adjustment screw is located on both sides of the crusher. One end of the adjustment screw is connected to the wedge block through a pin shaft, and is installed on both sides of the crusher frame side plate by means of an adjustment nut and a support. When the discharge port needs to be adjusted, the screw can be turned with a wrench on both sides of the frame to pull the wedge block, change the relative position of the two wedge blocks, and then change the total thickness of the wedge block to achieve the purpose of adjusting the size of the discharge port.
2. Hydraulic adjustment method is to change the adjustment screw in the mechanical adjustment method to a hydraulic cylinder, and at the same time, the adjustment of the tension spring is also achieved through the hydraulic cylinder, so that the automatic adjustment of the discharge port is achieved, which is convenient and labor-saving.
In general, the pad type is the simplest, but inconvenient to operate; the wedge type can achieve automatic adjustment and is more convenient to operate. However, this is only an adjustment that can be made when the wear-resistant parts are worn out to a certain extent. If the wear-resistant parts are seriously worn out, it is recommended to replace them.
At the end of the article, we should also talk about the latest adjustment method, called hydraulic cylinder adjustment. The hydraulic cylinder type can not only automatically adjust the discharge port, but also realize the functions of iron passing and cavity clearing. It is easy to use and reduces the labor intensity of the operator. However, it is less used and relatively expensive, and it is not yet widely popular.
