Introduction to jaw crusher:

Jaw crusher is a coarse crushing equipment in the mining industry. It plays a very important role in the production line. It can crush large pieces of hard materials such as quartz, bluestone, river pebbles, cobblestones, limestone, iron ore and other stone materials. It is popular in the mining industry for its reliable operation, simple operation and convenient maintenance.

Jaw crusher is mainly composed of: frame, fixed jaw plate, movable jaw plate, guard plate, transmission parts, adjustment seat, movable jaw pull rod, etc.

Brief description of structure:

This machine is mainly composed of frame, movable jaw, eccentric shaft, jaw plate, toggle plate and other parts. The motor drives the eccentric shaft through the V-belt, so that the movable jaw moves according to the adjusted trajectory. Thus, the materials in the crushing chamber are crushed. Side guards are installed on the side walls of the frame on the left and right of the crushing chamber to prevent the wear of the frame.

The movable jaw is an integrally formed cast steel part, with a movable jaw plate installed on the front. Its upper part is suspended on the frame by the eccentric shaft and roller bearing, and its lower part is supported on the toggle plate. Flywheels and V-belt pulleys are installed at both ends of the eccentric shaft. The other end of the toggle plate is supported on the adjustment seat. In addition to supporting the movable jaw, the toggle plate plays an insurance role when the external uncrushable materials enter the crushing chamber and cause the machine load to increase suddenly, that is, it breaks quickly and protects other parts from damage.

The adjustment seat is installed in the slide grooves on both sides of the frame and is close to the adjustment slide. When the discharge opening needs to be adjusted, use a wrench to turn the nut clockwise, the adjusting slide will rise immediately, and the adjusting seat will move forward accordingly, and the discharge opening will change from large to small, and vice versa.

Installation Instructions

The user should check the machine when receiving it to eliminate possible damage during transportation.

1. Since the machine vibrates greatly during operation. It is recommended to install the machine on any concrete foundation. In order to reduce vibration and noise, so as to prevent the vibration generated by the machine from affecting the foundation of the building, it is best to pad the crusher and the concrete foundation with hardwood pads, rubber belts or other vibration-damping materials.

2. The weight of the foundation can be roughly 5-10 times the weight of the machine. The depth of the foundation should be greater than the depth of the frozen ground at that location. For the installation of the machine and the location of the anchor screws, please refer to the foundation diagram.

3. Before adjusting the discharge port, loosen the tension spring first. After adjustment, adjust the tension of the spring appropriately to prevent the toggle plate from falling off during operation.

Instructions for use

(I) Preparation before starting:

1. Check carefully whether the bearing is in good lubrication condition and whether there is enough grease in the bearing and the connection of the elbow plate.

2. Check carefully whether all fasteners are completely tightened.

3. Check whether the transmission belt is in good condition. If the belt is damaged, it should be replaced in time. When the belt or belt pulley is oily, wipe it with a clean cloth.

4. Check whether the protective device is in good condition. If the protective device is found to be unsafe, it should be eliminated immediately.

5. Check whether there are ore or other debris in the crushing chamber, and clean it before starting.

(II) Starting the crusher:

1. After inspection, it can be started only after proving that the machine and the transmission part are in normal condition.

2. The machine should be started under no-load condition.

3. After starting, if any abnormal situation is found, it should be stopped immediately. The crusher can be started again only after the abnormal situation is found and eliminated.

(III) Maintenance and use

1. Feeding can only be started after the crusher is operating normally.

2. The crushed materials should be added to the crushing chamber evenly, and side feeding should be avoided to prevent sudden load changes or unilateral sudden increases.

3. Under normal working conditions, the temperature rise of the bearing should not exceed 35℃, and the maximum temperature should not exceed 70℃. If it exceeds 70℃, the machine should be stopped immediately, and the cause should be found out and eliminated.

4. Before stopping, the feeding should be stopped first, and the motor can be turned off only after the crushed materials in the crushing chamber are completely discharged.

5. During use, if the machine stops due to blockage of materials in the crushing chamber, the motor should be turned off immediately. The material must be removed before it can be started again.

6. The jaw plate can be turned around after one end is worn.

(IV) Lubrication

1. Pay attention to and do a good job of friction lubrication in time to ensure the normal operation of the machine and extend its service life.

2. The grease used in this machine should be determined according to the location, temperature and other conditions where the machine is used. Generally, calcium-based, sodium-based or calcium-sodium grease can be used.

3. Add 50-70% of the grease volume to the bearing seat, and it must be replaced every three months. When changing the oil, please use clean gasoline or kerosene to carefully clean the running edge of the roller bearing.

4. The contact between the toggle plate and the toggle plate pad must be filled with grease before the machine is started.

(V) Possible drum failures and methods of eliminating them.

1. Personnel operating the machine must receive safety technical education.

2. It is strictly forbidden to look into the machine from above during operation.

3. It is strictly forbidden to make any adjustments, cleaning or maintenance during operation.

4. It is strictly forbidden to carry or move ore directly on the feed port and in the crushing chamber with your hands during operation.

5. The electrical equipment of this machine should be grounded, and the wires should be installed in insulating tubes.
